Reset Your Organisation

By 2022, employers across the UK will need to achieve a 12% increase in the number of workers aged 50-69. In the south-west, employers are already working together to identify the support needed to meet the needs of the region’s key occupation sectors.

It is vital that ALL employers help break down the barriers that inhibit older workers from looking for or continuing in employment by offering:

 Flexible working patterns
 Retraining
 Mentor support
 Access to apprenticeships
 Voluntary work
 Job share
 Information and advice
