On Thursday 18th October, John Lewis wasn’t the only thing launching in Cheltenham.  The date coincided with World Menopause Day and was chosen as the official date to launch Menomagic – a natural remedy for menopausal symptoms. Cheltenham based Reflexologist, Steven Crumblehulme (owner of Sole Therapies) launched the product to a packed crowd at The Find Coffee House on Regent Street.

The product development has been a real labour of love, with Steven developing the cream for his mother (and reflexology clients) who had been suffering with menopausal hot flushes for some time. Word of mouth has spread to the point where larger production runs of the cream are now viable. In the first week alone, the cream has been sent from Cheltenham to places as far afield as Dartmouth in the south to Dumfries in Scotland.
Speaking with Faye Hatcher on BBC Radio Gloucestershire recently, he said ‘I'm really excited about the product we're offering; the cream selected is vegan-friendly, paraben-free, organic and anti-oxidant rich.  The air-pump dispenser has been chosen to minimise waste and the essential oils are the best around.’

Just under 50 women were tested, with Karen of Totnes saying, ‘My hot flushes can be so overwhelming, in duration, intensity and symptoms so you can imagine my enthusiasm to try Menomagic.  I can honestly say the results have far exceeded my expectations.’
The cream is now being sold online via and Steven is keen to connect with local health retailers, stockists and wellbeing groups to help spread the word locally.
