CHELTENHAM LAW FIRM WINS TOP-LEVEL LEGAL RANKING
Cheltenham lawyers at Harrison Clark Rickerbys are have been ranked among the best in the UK in the prestigious ‘Legal 500’ listing of the major law firms in England and Wales.
With 11 areas of legal practice singled out for praise, the Cheltenham teams received the highest ranking possible for their corporate and commercial work, their commercial litigation skills and their expertise in employment matters – 29 lawyers were recommended by the directory, including in the strong education and family law teams.
Clients described litigation expert Adam Finch as ‘an excellent tactician and client manager’ and Alex Taylor, who handles personal tax, trusts and probate, as ‘ a fantastic lawyer with a deep technical ability’, while the firm’s family law team is said by a client to be ‘unrivalled by any others in the Gloucestershire and Worcestershire area.’

The listing is based on firms’ achievements, the quality of their teams and client feedback.
Confirming the level of high-quality advice across the firm, 61 of Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ lawyers, covering 17 different legal specialisms were recommended in the Legal 500 United Kingdom 2017 editorial, with six individuals being named as leaders in their fields.
In the Cheltenham office, the banking and finance team, led by Tim Littler, the insolvency and corporate recovery team led by Sam Payne, the commercial property team led by Mark Fabian and both professional negligence (Adam Finch) and intellectual property (Steven Murray) experts were also recommended.
