CHELTENHAM LAW FIRM WINS TOP-LEVEL LEGAL ACCOLADES
Celebrating its best rankings in this year’s prestigious ‘Legal 500’ listing of the major law firms in England and Wales, Harrison Clark Rickerbys has not only received more top-level accolades than ever before but also firmly established its position at the legal top table in the area.
In this year’s listings, Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ Cheltenham teams received the highest ranking possible for their corporate and commercial work, their commercial litigation skills and their expertise in employment matters. The services which the firm offers to corporate and private clients, as well its specialist expertise, also gained Legal 500 recommendations in eight other practice areas across Gloucestershire and along the M4 corridor.
Clients described the corporate and commercial team as “first-class”, highly responsive and always prepared to go the extra mile, while its commercial litigation team was noted for its “excellent combination of technical knowledge mixed with commerciality.”
Richard Wilkey, head of the Cheltenham office said: “We are delighted that our teams have been recognised for their strengths – it shows what a wealth of talent we have here. As a top tier firm, we offer clients of all sizes in the region City-quality advice on their doorstep, and our team of more than 160 in Cheltenham offers a full range of specialisms and expertise which make us stand out in our chosen markets.”
The most widely used legal directory in the UK, the Legal 500 is considered to be ‘the bible of the legal business’, ranking law firms for their expertise and performance to help clients identify the crème de la crème of legal expertise. The listing is based on firms’ achievements, the quality of their teams and client feedback.
Confirming the level of high-quality advice across the firm, 40 of Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ lawyers, covering 18 different legal specialisms were recommended in the Legal 500 United Kingdom 2016 editorial, with three individuals being named as leaders in their fields nationally – Richard Morgan, head of the firm’s litigation team and of its defence, security and the forces sector; Arpinder Dhillon, Head of Business Services in the Wye Valley; and Inez Brown, partner with the firm’s sister company Medical Accident Group.
