GFirst LEP, Gloucester City Council, Cheltenham Borough Council, Stroud District Council and the Government are joining forces to make Gloucestershire’s High Streets some of the most digitally engaged in the world.

Research by Loughborough University reveals that just 20% of retail businesses on the High Street use social media to talk to their customers. This is in direct contrast to consumers. 75% of UK adults have a social media account.

This campaign seeks to address this communication void by stimulating the social conversation on the High Street. #WDYT is a social campaign that anyone can get involved with:

For Shoppers: #WDYT encourages them to share things they see on the High Street and provides an opportunity to win £100 every week. Get Involved

For Retailers: #WDYT drives social and digital footfall in a ready made social campaign that connects retailers to their shoppers online and offline. Get Involved

For Employers: #WDYT is a campaign to share with your employees to help your local High Street by getting more people involved and more social reach. Get Involved

We are asking everyone to show their support for their local High Street by pledging involvement in the #WDYT campaign so that Gloucestershire becomes a national digital leader.
