Corporate lawyer Chris Cook will be celebrating the New Year with promotion at leading law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys in Cheltenham.

Chris, a trustee of The Pied Piper Appeal, is a transactional lawyer in the firm’s corporate team. He has considerable experience of buying and selling businesses, private equity investment work, shareholders’ agreements and restructuring, working with a wide range of businesses locally and nationally at all stages from start-up and growth development through to exit.

He has led on and been involved in significant deals this year, including acting for management on the partial exit of a well-known coffee house chain, acting for shareholders on a £9m disposal of a Birmingham based manufacturing company to a US acquirer, acting for shareholders on a £10m disposal of an elevators business to an American acquirer, acting for the acquirer of an £8m asbestos company and acting for GIL Investments on its £10m buy-out of Ashworths from Jewson Building Products.
