HARRISON CLARK RICKERBYS TOPS LEGAL RANKINGS
Leading Cheltenham law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys has come out on top again, with a premier legal guide recommending it as one of the highest-level firms in the country.
The Chambers UK Guide ranks the business, which is the largest law firm in Cheltenham, in the top tiers of law firms for fifteen service areas. Harrison Clark Rickerbys also attracts a number of first-rate rankings across its six offices and legal services.
A number of the Cheltenham-based teams have again shone this year. Amongst these the Cheltenham Real Estate team came highly recommended by clients for always providing ‘high quality and timely advice’. Similarly, the large Private Client and Education teams have been praised for being ‘highly capable’ and having ‘great specialist knowledge’.
Being commercially aware is always high on Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ agenda and the Information Technology team have impressed with their range of expertise on both large and small initiatives in the IT space.
Jon Whitbread, head of the Cheltenham office said: “We were delighted to be recognised for our expertise; these rankings truly demonstrate our strengths. When so many of our teams have been acknowledged for their skills and experience, it shows what a wealth of talent we have here. As a top tier firm, we offer clients City-quality advice on their doorstep, and our team of more than 160 in Cheltenham offers a full range of specialisms and expertise which make us stand out in our chosen markets.”
Referred to by clients looking to find the best legal representation for their business across the UK, the annual Chamber UK Guides have been ranking the top law firms and lawyers since 1990.
Law firms and individual lawyers are ranked in bands from 1-6, with 1 being the best. The qualities on which rankings are assessed include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities most valued by the client.
Jon continued: “Coming after an excellent showing in the Legal 500 guide, this further confirms the quality of our work, and the outstanding expertise we offer our clients locally, regionally and nationally.”
Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ strong showing in the guide come hot on the heels of its success in The Legal 500 listing of the major law firms in England and Wales, published in September. In the Legal 500 guide, it was recommended as a top-tier law firm in multiple practice areas; two of its lawyers were identified as leaders in their field and 38 of its lawyers were recommended individually for their skills in 12 different specialisms.
